Title

'Curved Bridge between the Cliffs'

Subject

bridge; Thompson canyon; scenic roadways; Colorado; Rocky Mountain National Park

Description

A tinted image of a curved bridge between steep, rocky hillsides in northern Colorado.

Front text top: "Curved Bridge bewteen the Cliffs in Lower Thompson Canon" bottom: "The Scenic Way to Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado from Northern Colorado Points."

Back text: "Big Thompson Canon is one of the most rugged and picturesque of the many wonderful mountain highways of Colorado. Cliffs of granite tower hundreds of geet above the stream; the rocks close in ahead so that no passage seems possible, yet always upon advancing, a way opens. In many places there is hardly room for both road and stream together and the road crosses and recrosses the stream over many substantial bridges to find its passageway."
